Azango caught the eye of Gent officials following his impressive showing for Trencin in the UEFA Europa League this season.
The 21-year-old scored a brace for Trencin in the win against Gornik Zabrze and was on target in the 4-0 victory against Dutch giants, Feyenoord.
He follows the footsteps of Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu, products of the famous GBS Academy in Nigeria
