Egbuchulam Bags Hat-Trick For Falkenbergs In Swedish Second Division

Nigeria forward, Chisom Egbuchulam, continued his good scoring form by grabbing a hat-trick in Swedish second division side, Falkenbergs’ 4-1 home win against Degerfors on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Egbuchulam has now scored nine goals in 16 league appearances for his club.

Karl Soederstroem opened scoring for the home team in the fifth minute.The former Enugu Rangers forward grabbed a brace in Falkenbergs’ 4-1 win against Skoftebyns IF in midweek.

Egbuchulam then took the centre stage with three goals in eighth, 27th and 70th minutes.

Kevin Wright got Degerfors’‎ only goal of the game in the 37th minute.

Egbuchulam linked up with Falkenbergs in April following an unhappy spell at Swedish top division side, BK Hacken.

Sporting Charleroi forward, Victor Osimhen, is thrilled to score for the club in their Belgian Cup game 2-O win against Eendracht Aalst on Wednesday and has now shifts attention to Saturday’s league clash against Lokeren. Osimhen, 19, scored one of the goals for Charleroi in the game, his second in the previous two appearances for the club. Azango Joins KAA Gent On Three-Year Deal From Trencin

Nigeria winger, Philip Azango, has joined Belgian club, KAA Gent on a three-year deal from AS trencin Azango caught the eye of Gent officials following his impressive showing for Trencin in the UEFA Europa League this season. The 21-year-old scored a brace for Trencin in the win against Gornik Zabrze and was on target in the 4-0 victory against Dutch giants, Feyenoord. He follows the footsteps of Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu, products of the famous GBS Academy in Nigeria who featured for Trencin before securing moves to Gent. Azango was in action for Trencin in a Europa League play-off round clash against Cypriot club, AEK Lanarca on Thursday. The pacy winger once featured for Nigeria Professional Football League clubs, Nasarawa United and Plateau United.

Filippo Inzaghi scored 316 goals in 694 games during his playing career Former Italy striker Filippo Inzaghi has been appointed as manager of Serie A side Bologna. The World Cup winner, 44, has signed a two-year deal after leaving Venezia, where he spent two seasons. Inzaghi's first job in management was at AC Milan, but he was sacked in June 2016, after a year in charge. He then went to Venezia, who he led to Serie B, but they missed out on promotion to Italy's top flight this season after losing in the play-offs. Inzaghi was a prolific goalscorer with the likes of Juventus and Atalanta before spending the majority of his playing career at Milan. He won two Serie A titles with the Rossoneri, as well as the Champions League in 2003 and 2007, and was part of Italy's World Cup-winning squad in 2006.

Oghenekaro Etebo has won 14 caps for Nigeria Stoke City have signed Feirense midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo for £6.35m (7.2m euros) on a five-year deal. The 22-year-old, who spent the end of last season on loan at La Liga side Las Palmas, is in the Nigeria squad for the World Cup in Russia. World Cup 2018: Nigeria lose final warm-up match to Czech Republic

Tomas Kalas (right) spent last season on loan at Fulham as they won promotion to the Premier League Nigeria suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Czech Republic in their final warm-up match before the World Cup in Russia. Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas scored the only goal of the game in the first half. Nigeria also lost 2-1 to England at Wembley last weekend, while the Czechs - who failed to qualify for the World Cup - lost 4-0 to Australia in their previous friendly outing. Nigeria will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D in Russia. Their opening game is against Croatia in Kaliningrad on 16 June.
